Feature interview #1630 in an ongoing series. To celebrate our Band of the Year visiting the UK for a run of live dates – and releasing their Band of the Year album – I met Italian champs Violet Blend for breakfast in London. They explored the taste of a traditional English breakfast and we also had a little saunter on the infamous rock xylo, which may have got us thrown out of the eatery! We then went to experience the official opening of Fabbriccio’s London ice cream shop and then jumped in a black cab to go record shopping in Oxford street. Rock legend Wayne of the Knights of the Round table (Peterborough branch) joined us and we also met new band member Nigel and manager Lorenzo big-hair.
