Great track. I had to go to the Internet and look up  Sixto Rodriguez to refresh my memory and now I’m going to have to listen to some of his very underappreciated songs.

Is this tragedy, which will occur 5 billion years from now, the first of its kind in this universe? No, it is a catastrophe that has struck countless intelligent life forms over the course of 13.7 billion years. There must have been life forms that, after repeated cycles of war-induced civilizational collapse and rebuilding, could not escape in time and were wiped out by the death of their star. 

Will humanity be able to depart before the death of the sun?
