Broken English Club, Teste, Privacy and Phase Fatale deliver four distinct interpretations of tracks from SARIN’s debut full length release on BITE.  

We chose Phase Fatale’s remix of Psychic Driving. A pure booming techno stomper, mechanical texture vocals and dual basslines dives lower on the chromatic scale keeping a dark tone. Well suited for fogged out and dimly lit club settings.

He is one of the most experienced DJs in Barcelona and a master of many genres, but today we especially wanted him to delight us with one of our favorite genres, EBM. Gal Perez a.k.a. PRZ is an active record producer from Israel. Running the label Chateau Royal together with his partner in crime Rapha, PRZ is a vibrant force in the realm of synth-driven electro beats. His most recent involvement has been Pluto Junkies, a collaboration between three nomads – the aforementioned Rapha, PRZ and DT’s own Ernestas Sadau; their shredding debut EP “Flying Spaghetti Monstership” landed in stores just a few weeks before this conversation, having been released as the first 12’’ of Pinkman’s new subdivision, Minri. PRZ’s solo work has also been delivered by Housewax, Bauhaus Records and Parallax, always jam packed with sharp rhythms and melodies.

PREMIERE #1463 | Jokios Kultūros - Flow [Electric Shapes] 2021

Her mouth was as dry as a bone, and she could feel a lump beginning to form at the back of her throat. This wasn't how she'd planned it out in her head; it became clear there were plenty of situations she hadn't prepared for. Of all of them, running out of water should have been much further down the list. She squinted up at the sun for just a moment, before continuing to scour new ground.

Last year saw the release of @koshinmoon's third album 'Leïla Nova' on French label Akuphone, and now, in an effort to inspire new dialogue and collaborations with other like-minded producers, they've invited several artists to remix the original tracks. Feller, Cheb Runner, Marwan Hawash and Cornelius Doctor all take a turn at morphing the psychedelic cosmic synths and traditional Eastern instrumentation into new, hypnotic forms.
