Here's the demo I arranged for Stronger Than You! Rebecca recorded the vocals and omnichord track, and I put everything else together in Logic. We used this track to figure out the timing for the action sequence and for Estelle to sing to. Aivi and Surasshu then made it a billion times more awesome for the final version!!

I wrote this with Pen Ward, for the Adventure Time episode, "It Came From the Nightosphere," back in 2010.

It was my first storyboard, and my first song for TV! 

This recording is from just after the episode aired, and it includes my early pitch for the song, and the final after working on it with Pen. 

Huge thanks to Pen for taking a chance on me back then, and to my first AT board partner Adam Muto for teaching me everything I know!

This was a song Pen had already written, these are his chords! I just changed the wording to be more G-rated and episode specific, and added the "because you're a human just like me Susan" part.

I was so, SO excited to get to work on this episode. I wanted to do justice to Natasha Allegri's Fionna and Cake characters! I tried to go all out on this for the big romantic musical number. 
Also I was excited to have Cake play the hammer dulcimer because it's the instrument I learned music on!

I went out of my mind working on this one! It was so tough. I had to ask Ian to leave our apartment. I played and played my guts out trying to write this thing. When he came back I'd finished, and I played it and sang it in an exhausted fury and it was probably the best pitch I ever did of this song.

I'm Just Your Problem Demo

This one was so fun to write! I remember writing it while I was cooking! I was chopping onions and singing this. I was thinking about a Ted Leo song. And I was thinking about the AT crew and loving being around them.
