His blends, combining stretches of atmospheric minutiae, laser-guided programming and post-industrial murk, teleport their listener into a far-out bubble of sound where earthy laws do not apply and your whole body, down to its cellular level, throbs with a vital impulse to let go. Born and raised in the Caribbean, Dio is a multidisciplinary artist who transforms experience into sound and visuals. Through music, he tells stories, layering carefully chosen tracks to create dynamic relationships that pull listeners into his world. Forged from a deep love of minimal techno and the underground roots of house music, Dio’s style can be described as “old meets new” -a utopia within the dystopian. His sound reflects music’s necessity in society: a protest, community and a desire for connection.

With a hypnotic approach, Dio weaves together identity, heritage, and craft. His sets blend haunting vocals with old-school analogue textures, intricate rhythms and melodies, and minimalist precision.
