I'm here to share and appreciate all genres of music.  Most of what I am currently recording is electronic, and largely ambient, in nature; however, I have recently started recording cover songs of various tunes.  So, since I'm no longer strictly ambient (only mostly), I've changed my SoundCloud name to Smooth Waters Sonic Journeys.  Headphones greatly enhance the listening experience. aimlessambience is the culmination of my 25 years of musical exploration, a project driven by a relentless desire to evolve and grow in both musicianship and production. With a deep-rooted passion for sound design and composition, I craft immersive landscapes that blend ambient, electronic, and experimental elements—each piece unfolding like a cinematic journey through emotion and soundscapes.

Music has always been a space for me to aimlessly explore, to capture fleeting moments of introspection, tension, and beauty. My sound is constantly shifting, shaped by a love for synthesis, glitch aesthetics, and the raw imperfections that make music feel alive. From intricate synth layers to hypnotic textures and evolving soundscapes, I aim to create something that resonates—not just as background ambiance, but as an experience that pulls listeners into a world of emotion and movement.

This project isn’t about staying in one place, it’s about growth and taking on new elements and techniques. Every track is a step forward, an experiment, a challenge to break past creative limits. aimlessambience is a reflection of that journey, and I’m excited to see where it leads next.

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.
