Musical influences :
Rocked by the colorful and joyful music of the 80s and 90s, but also in the symphonic, I discovered music initially with ABBA...
Addict of the SynthPop of the time (OMD, Yazoo, Human League, Erasure, Depeche Mode...), and then ACE OF BASE or others similar Bands, my inspiration today is clearly from all these wonders : nice melodies and synthetic style.

Sjonkel Rolfsen is a vinyl enthusiast and music collector from Trondheim in Norway. He has been welding records at local venues and events for two decades. Nowadays, he mostly enjoys to fiddle around with experimental and ambient in the comfort of his humble abode, but still get the odd epiphany to wonder out into the enchanting world of house and techno. aimlessambience is the culmination of my 25 years of musical exploration, a project driven by a relentless desire to evolve and grow in both musicianship and production. With a deep-rooted passion for sound design and composition, I craft immersive landscapes that blend ambient, electronic, and experimental elements—each piece unfolding like a cinematic journey through emotion and soundscapes.

Music has always been a space for me to aimlessly explore, to capture fleeting moments of introspection, tension, and beauty. My sound is constantly shifting, shaped by a love for synthesis, glitch aesthetics, and the raw imperfections that make music feel alive.
