hearded with the masses, never had a clue. 
her dad was lazy, with no emotion to give and only work to do. 
superstitious. 
careful of the cracks, didn’t wanna break mamas back 
only child. 
looking in the mirror with a lonely smile.

she’d wake up screaming. 
just a baby seeing horror when she’s supposed to be dreaming. 
her fist squeezed tight, she
swung at empty air, fightin demons off nightly. 
they kissed her forehead and said. 
they said “baby don’t be scared, just follow us blindly. don’t ask questions and we’ll get along kindly
you don’t wanna meet a fate that’s oh so untimely.

Her thoughts were venom.
Snakes in her mind, but she learned not to pet 'em.
Mirrors shattered.
Pieces of her face on the floor, scattered.
Her soul grew colder, as she got older 
Heavy with the weight of the world on her shoulders. 
They tried to mold her, tried to fold her 
but this game is 
far from over.
