Emilio Del Canto is a first-generation Canadian with a diverse musical background and upbringing. Since his humble beginnings in Saskatoon, Canada, Emilio has forged himself into a prominent DJ, producer, entrepreneur, and event promoter in the Canadian music industry. He presently operates at the helm of his event companies Foundation House Music and The Treehouse Series in synergy with other artists and was recently nominated for Saskatchewn Music Awards Artist of The Year for Electronic Music. He actively releases tracks that encompass his unique style, taste and passion for electronic music, which always shines through in his work and is held at the forefront of his endeavors.


During his early years, Emilio held a residency at Kass Night Club in Benin, West Africa, and has more recently toured and performed across Canada, the US, and as far South as Mexico and Nicaragua. The influence of his travel and his Chilean roots have resulted in an exciting fusion of musical styles that incorporate an array of tropical, Latin, and tribal-based rhythms as well as deep, soulful melodies, chord progressions, and vocals. The melodic and cultural components of his music are complimented by an expertly integrated range of House Music, Drum & Bass and other contemporary electronic genres. The refined skill he possesses is attributed to decades of music collection, research, and artistic development.

In performance, Emilio is never afraid to break the mold and explore beyond the expected. His musical spontaneity is balanced by the technical finesse he exhibits behind the decks and in the studio. Instinctually responsive to the dynamic ebb and flow of a dance floor, he is able to connect intimately with his audience through his music and effortlessly manipulates the energy throughout his sets. He pours his heart and soul into his craft, and can always be seen playing out, writing tracks, throwing events, and making moves to spread the music he loves.

Jonny Love Drunk is just a dude, doing things that dude’s do. Heavily influenced by the Care bears, Dragon Ball Z, and rock n’ roll music, in twenty thirteen he was drafted into the DJ Program. The participant optimization system matched him with his partner Patty VibesUp, offering significant synergistic potential. Together they trained diligently, earning the ‘BodyBreakers’ moniker for their operational prowess. After gaining notoriety in the field, the universal Grandmaster gave the directive that they would both proceed on solo missions, to which they duly complied. 

Since then, Jonny Love Drunk has continued to evolve, excel, and exceed expectations in the pursuit of his craft. He has been assigned to missions all over Western Canada such as Bass in the Bush, Fozzyfest, Emotion, and Electric Sky. Intelligence suggests that he utilizes various assets, specializing in Bass, Funk, D&B, and House to complete his objectives. His powers of seduction have proven to be extremely effective, we can neither confirm nor deny the accuracy of this report.
