This song is about the frustrations and betrayals that artists face in the digital age, particularly with music streaming platforms like SoundCloud. I was recently hit hard when my total play count suddenly dropped by half, with hundreds of plays vanishing from each song seemingly overnight. I've heard about three other artists that have had this happen to them as well.  It was a stark reminder of the lack of control and transparency artists have over their own work. The lyrics highlight the issues of transparency and fairness in counting streams and paying royalties, and how these systems can be manipulated to the detriment of the artists. It's a call to action, demanding justice and fairness for creators, and emphasizing the importance of honesty and integrity in the way our work is valued and compensated. 

This song is a protest against SoundCloud's exploitation of artists and a plea for a more equitable system that respects the value of our work.
