o1. Pandemically Speaking

Mutz Wi' Nutz (•M•W•N•) is a virtual rock band, formulated c. May-2o, to help 4 musical alter-egos deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.

Clearly, •M•W•N• doesn't exist e.g., you won't see the band playing live. There is usually one real person involved; but now it's really a case of "been there, done that, so let's play for the fun of it".

During lockdown, •M•W•N• recorded demos of a few of its favourite tracks in the style of rock-guitar cover versions. After a few months, the "well, we've recorded it, so we might as well" debut album: RECoVERED RoCK (•R•R•) was released i.e., 12 covers of classic 6os/ 7os pop/ rock songs, delivered in pulsating 52+ minutes, available exclusively on SoundCloud (•S•C•).

o2. Demotivated As Fcuk

Scotland imported its 2o21 summer weather from the Sahara c/o Global Warming Inc. Despite this, and the advent of the post-pandemic era, •M•W•N• continued to work under lockdown conditions.

However, attempting to work on three albums simultaneously: INTERMISSIoN (•I•), CoVERT oPERATIoNS (•C•o•) and, the currently untitled (eponymous) "IV" (•4•), was proving to be a fool's errand i.e., •M•W•N• had become demotivated as fcuk and new releases were not forthcoming. 

Hence, Mutz enlisted the legendary Nobby (•N•) to be the band's new producer. After a brief assessment, •N• revealed his plan, saying:

"Let's begin with a couple of demos packaged as MoNTHLY UPLoADs [•M•U•] exclusively to •S•C•."
