A remix of a recording by StreetLife. I wrote the song after a summers day walk in the countryside near my home. The walk took in a disused railway viaduct on the outskirts of the town where I live. The song tells some of the story of the viaduct and it's builder George Hudson (aka 'The Railway King') and the ancient River Wharfe that the viaduct crosses.

Hi, I’m Alan T from North Yorkshire, UK. I enjoy creating music with ukuleles (four, five, eight and ten string'ers), some keyboard and singing. I make music solo and with Fiona as part of our duo ‘Al~Fi’. She brings her talent on fiddle to our recordings and also mandolin from time to time. I produce music using GarageBand.
