Hi everyone.

After three weeks sick, he seems to be starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel (That's what we say in Spain...).

My precious kidney stones have prevented me from focusing on songwriting and my commitments to some friends here, and will continue to do so for a while...

But my spirit regains energy and that's why I leave you here a composition from almost 8 years ago that I don't remember having published before.

It is one of the most complex electronic parts ever made.

It's true that I remastered it a few years later in my second mixing studio......yes, in my second car with BT.

I hope you like it, while I hope to expel two of my beloved stones from the four I have had since the last month.

I'm hoping this will cut it as the first track on an album inspired by Asimov's Foundation novels.
I used a Gibson 335 Memphis for all the guitar parts.
The cover is from a Catalonian edition of the book and is by Guillem H. Pongillupi; find him on Artstation and Pinterest.

This song began with Terry sharing an intriguing Eastern sounding synth and minimal beat with Ken, who added a really solid beat to bring out the strong rhythm of the song. Once they had a solid foundation and skeleton, they shared it with the rest of the Eclectic Collective. Josh added his five string fretless bass in a dubby line that was inspired by Tez's hot skank part.  Stephen came up with the shocking dynamic lift towards the end, and Tez piled on to light it up. Then MD got a hold of it and wrote and sang some of his trademark, fun lyrics and vocals in the first part of the song. Ken, not to be left out of the melodic experience, added the vocals at the end. 
  After we all had everything in the can, the Texas Tea combo of Stephen and Terry produced and mixed the whole thing down. This wasn't their first rodeo mixing a project together, and it really shows in the end quality. They also have several duo projects up on both of their pages that are worth checking out.  
  We think the end result is reminiscent of Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation, two big influences on a few of us. We all hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

I was a rather weird kid, listened to Spike Jones, Benny Goodman, fifties rock´n´ roll and my father´s jazz record collection (O.  Peterson, Bird, C. Brown, W. Montgomery etc.)
 Later I discovered Psychedelia, New wave/Punk, Japanese noise (especially C.C.C.C.), 60-70s rock classics, Debussy&Messiaen, Dub reggae, Prog (Gabriel era Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator....), vintage Beninese stuff (Orchestre Poly Rythmo de Cotonou, Gnonnas Pedro  and so on), UK Freakbeat, out-there Jazz, Bowie/Floyd bootlegs, J. Zorn, early 90s Indie, F. Zappa, antique French Pop (Dutronc, Laforet...), U. Srinivas plus labels like Delerium Records, Shimmy Disc, Japan Overseas (Osaka), RecRec music and God knows what.
Additionally, I should mention that my all time favorite Finnish album is Sperm "Shh! Heinäsirkat". Check it out!
Various literary and "cinematic" influences have molded my music.  The more predictable stuff like Surrealism, Dada, Situationism, Beats (mainly W. Burroughs) of course, but I have also been influenced by the old-school Finnish Radio Drama, Beninese "traditions", the ramblings/books by P .Levenda, Megalithic Structures&Art, the humor of H.S. Thompson, 70s-80s Eastern European Animation, Yakuza films and by the cult movies re-released by Blue Underground, Something Weird Videos, Mondo Macabro, Arrow Films and so forth. Pretty far-out stuff that could destroy your mind permanently?
 And nope, my photo is not from the 50s or from the 60´s (It was taken around 358 BC, hahaha).

Ich Bin Der Sturm (Original)

Gargyzaa is a one-man band located in Finland. I play all the instruments (guitars, keys, bass, didgeridoo, toy moog, found objects etc.) no proper DAWs used (only Zoom R24). I  also "sing" all the vocals plus recite all the eccentric poetry and deliver those odd pseudo theatrical dialogues etc. (all the lyrics are written by me: some in Finnish and some in English, but in patois French, nonstandard Italian, "invented" Dada jive talk and in glossolaliac gibberish as well). The rhythm tracks are made from simple loops, all the rest is manually played.
Never been a proper musician (self taught "savant" i am) and have never played in any band . 
The cover art/design is just basically a few collages I made and a couple of random photos I took.
Totally a non-profit project, a delightful way to expand my own mind and learn more. Hopefully this music will make people laugh, perplex, stimulate them or cause the listeners to freak out in a positive way or to experience odd synchronicities and even see a few distorted visions here and there.
To fully experience the bizarre soundscapes of my music it is advisable to use the headphones with rather loud volume.
