CIANA, based in the San Francisco area, is a bilingual creative force: a writer, translator, event creatrix, and DJ, who has lived in Latin America, Italy, New York, and Los Angeles. Having reveled on dance floors all over the world, Ciana knows deep in her body that when we dance, we leave the mundane world behind and elevate to higher realms, where we connect, feel alive, and get free. 

She’s somatically trained with Tasha Blank’s Powerhouse DJ School, and she’s a part of the eco-performance, global Collective BAE, as well as the Support Women DJs movement. 

Ciana fuses everything from Afrobeats, riddim, and amapiano to Latin, organic, funky deep house, neosoul, nu disco, and chillwave pop remixes. Her sets invite people to sweat, sway, and sing together. Maestra of a whimsical, raucous ritual, Ciana invites it all.

DJ Starshyne (aka Jamie Ridler) crafts mixes that loosen the grip of the mundane and make way for magic. A creative coach for over two decades, Starshyne combines her profound understanding of the artistic spirit with DJ skills forged at the internationally recognized Powerhouse DJ School to craft transformational dance experiences. Her musical repertoire crosses genres and eras. Expect the funky, the moody, the uplifting, the nostalgic, the raging, the irrepressible, the stirring, the soulful and the mystery.

After 19 years of sitar study and festival performances around the world, Prosad’s one-man show features guitar, sitar, Indian flute, didgeridoo and lead vocals with layered harmonies. From lush soundscapes, to contagious reggae grooves and inspiring lyrics, Prosad loops everything live and takes you on a journey of the soul.

Full Bio:

For Prosad, life in music is international, spiritual and full of good vibrations. He’s a multi-instrumentalist and singer who has travelled the world sharing his unique blend of sitar, guitar, reggae and world music.
 
On stage, Prosad is far outnumbered by his musical instruments but he brings them all together with live looping; recording guitar, layered vocals, flute, didgeridoo and more while soloing and singing over his spontaneous creations. He has performed all over the globe, including New Zealand, Australia, India and Europe. A career highlight was performing to a stadium of 50,000 people at the Dhaka International Folk Festival in Bangladesh. The next day in the hotel, the locals were humming his catchy melodies. 

Prosad has composed music for two Hollywood films; his song "Byron Bay" was featured in the movie The Love Guru, with Mike Myers. He also also composed the complete score for the independent film, Nice2MeetU. Prosad has performed and recorded with great artists such as Grammy Award winner Chris Berry and Australian legend Xavier Rudd (on his album Spirit Bird). He also had the same first sitar teacher as George Harrison.

Prosad's intention is to create a spiritual vibration in his music by blending sitar and other ancient instruments with uplifting lyrics, good vibes and messages of hope and rising into our power. He's been inspired by artists like the Beatles, Bob Marley and Trevor Hall as they have all shared a spiritual message through their music and Prosad is here to do the same. In his latest single, Rise Like the Sun, Prosad concentrates on combining all of his eclectic musical passions – mixing sitar with reggae and world music to create a style that is all his own. 

With the addition of nineteen years of classical sitar study and inspiration from the twenty plus years he spent studying with his spiritual teacher, Tulshi Sen, Prosad has a unique blend of music and wisdom to share. Daily meditation with mantra and sound as well as having a strong vision and realizing that we have the divine power to manifest that vision - this is Prosad's message . Contagious and uplifting - spreading joy and happiness: That’s Prosad’s vibe.
