Keeping with the Valentine's Day theme of love, here's an oldie but goldie I wrote this back in 1998, can you believe it, It's another song about my dream girl that I wouldn't meet for many year afterwards. I was divorced for about 2 years and pretty much feeling abandoned and lonely. I remember wanting to write a song in the same vein as "And I Love Her" by The Beatles. A very acoustic number with an accordion playing in the background, you know, very romantic like something you might hear in a Paris cafe! This was one of the first songs I did with Charlie, it wasn't recorded too well since I had an old Tascam 8-track analog recorder and it's distorted quite a bit but I think the melody and lyrics still hold up. (Mastering didn't help this song at all, sorry!) I don't know, let me know what you think in the comments. I've always liked the first line about wrapping myself inside her smile. I produced the video a few months ago for this Valentine's Day. I enjoyed putting it together and added like 10 quick snap shots of beautiful women taking selfies at the end of the video. Thought I Was Dreaming

       This song I wrote back in 2000 and it's another one of the first songs Charle and I recorded together. Written during my bachelor mid-life crisis phase when I was in between marriages. Needless to say I was feeling alone and blue during that time but even worse than that, I was bluer than blue!? So that made me Blue Blue! I rocked out on this one a bit in the solos and Charlie sang it very well, I double-tracked his voice, and I think Charlie played some harmonica on this one too! I had my old recorder so please forgive the quality. The video is brand new, I put it together last month and played around with colors and strobes, so be careful if strobing effects bother you. The video will drop on March 1st.

 I like my lyrics here, they are very simple but to the point and I think it sounds ok. It's actually a very fast uplifting song with a kind of anxious lyrics behind it, so whenever you're blue just remember that I used to be Blue Blue! ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼
