        This song brings back some good memories, it's just a slow groove that lifts your spirits and brings a happy summer glow to your face! We all take a little trip down Memory Lane every now and then, more now than then, I must admit in today's climate. My attempt at a soul song, a bit of R&B for me! Charlie sang it really well and played some harmonica on it too. I told Charlie to sing it like Marvin Gaye or Al Green or Otis Redding or someone like that! My harmony vocals were a bit off but the doo-doo's at the end were on target. I even had Charlie talk some lines too! I wrote out a little script for him to follow! Pretty cool if you ask me but what do I know?

The video is brand new, I finished it last month. It was really fun putting it together and I was watching old reruns of "The Wonder Years" to get me in the mood. That show actually made me think of this old song of mine, I had actually forgotten all about it! The video shows you memories through a young girls eyes in her room, she then grows up and you see her arranging old photos and watching old movies on video tape and enjoying some popcorn and then when she gets older there's a special treat for everybody, a twist, I won't spoil it here but watch until the end! Sometimes a tear or two develops while you're strolling down Memory Lane.
     So C'mon, everybody chill out for a while, have a nice drink, close your eyes and let's take a trip, me and you, down Memory Lane! Where smiles are plenty and frowns are few! You won't be sorry! 😉
