This song I wrote in 2000 and re-recorded it in 2022 during the pandemic.  It's a country song, well my version of a country song anyway, about life and how we are born alone and we all die alone, something my mom used to say to me repeatedly while I was growing up. I got a little too fancy with the lyrics but I put a nice simple melody to it, along with a nice hook in the chorus. Charlie did a great job singing it and the video follows the lyrics fairly well. I added a nice mellow lead to it as well. Basically the moral of the story is that you only live once so make the best out of it. Don't waste the time that you have on Earth with hate and pettiness in your heart, or with bullying and hurting people, leave that to our politicians! We'll see how many of them get into heaven! Be kind to each other, love each other for we are all just shooting stars across the sky! 🙏💖✌🏼

Isaiah 14:13-15, among others ( Ezekiel) .., a song from my late teens… it’s about trying to subvert everything and everyone.. for our own satisfaction.. .. and then longing for one’s original place in the line up card… pride is a tough beast to control and conquer…if you are a lyrics listener, there is a way out… but only by realization and contrition… hard to accomplish, but we all know the saying about free will…just a remix for my own satisfaction, he he and ha!!🤩🤩🤩😇😇😇

I'm not doing any music these days,so I thought I'd post one I did years ago. It's a cover of a Paul Ads song I've always loved.

Paul Adamson is a damn fine songwriter and I hardly ever record covers of other folk's work,but this one resonated deeply with me and still does after repeated listens.
I didn't lean too heavy on the production on this,because I wanted to allow the song to shine. I hope you enjoy and bring a few listens to Paul's cloud.
