Really nice song, Jim. I used to read a lot when I was younger but not much since the iPhone. The Internet is full of distractions, which isn’t always a good thing. Reading a book transports you to your own unique world, as each person visualizes a different picture in their mind we really all should be doing more reading

Hey Jeff man, as a very avid reader myself, I love the theme of this one. I recently read an article, I think it was in the Washington Post, about declining rates of reading and even reading proficiency. Couldn't agree more that knowledge is the right resistance to authoritarianism, which is why it's discouraged by the toxic waste that's running (ruining) this country. You think Trump has ever read a book cover to cover in his life? Hey my friend, this is outstanding work. Way to go with it!

Lovely song, Jimmy! I love to read books, and I think i will always do.  I have written many poems, and when I was younger I had a dream of making poems books... Instead I went to write lyrics to sing :) Great job!

This is a another song written during the pandemic in 2022. It's about the joy of reading! I know we don't read hardly anymore that's why we are pretty ignorant about science and math, look it up, don't take my word for it!! I still enjoy reading, it sparks my creativity, and opens up my imagination! It's really fabulous the trips we can make with our imagination by just reading. I whipped up seveal tales and weaved them all together into a Rock song. It is also about what happens to unread books that just turn to dust on our shelves. (Read H.G. Wells "The Time Machine" or at least watch the 1960 film!). I guess we will soon have no need for libraries!  Just I-phones! This is an adventure song, my Indiana Jones song!

      The video is brand new with loads of eye-candy for everybody. I thnk I finished it a few months ago. It'll take you on several exciting adventures!! I hope people enjoy it, we must continue to read books because when we stop reading books, then we will stop having independent thought and we become nothing more than brain dead sheep!  I'm sure that's what some evil people actually want! (Look what they did to Jimmy Kimmel!!). Read a book before they censor them and take them away! **I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks.
