Aldrighetti was the iceman in our village, he was the hero of us children and everyone wanted to eat his sphagetti-ice. I imagined him going to new york when i was a child. one day to another he was away. We did not really knew where he went.
May he lived his dream from the money he made from us...
So i transportet him fictive to New York ...
a much too crowded city for a men who lived in a quiet village as a guest worker before.

This song was written by Neil Sedaka & Carol Bayer Sager in 1966 and was released by The Monkees, that's were I heard it! It's a fun duet and I recorded it with my wife during the pandemic. She did a wonderful job singing it and I enjoyed recording it very much! The video was a blast to put together and reminds me of the mid 60's when I was a kid. It's a kind of bubble gum song but it's harder to play and sing than you think. I tried my best. I got a ton of sappy cover songs I did during the pandemic because I needed those songs from my youth to help me get through those dark pandemic times! I hope you enjoy them as much as I still do. We're not singers or anything, just two hippies trying to spread Peace & Love around a little! ✌🏼💖 Cheers!🥂
