This song I wrote way back in 2003 about the little lies that lurk in between the lines that people say sometimes or that you say to yourself too! I was in between marriages and was in a full-blown mid-life crisis mode at the time! 😂 6 years of way too much partying! It was fun while it lasted though! 😉 I re-recorded it during the pandemic and sang it myself. Sorry about that! Here's the video link:

       This song is my cover of a song that was performed by The Monkees and written by Andy Partridge for them several years ago in 2016! It's a great song to put in the middle of winter, when it's freezing cold outside! It get's everybody ready for the fun and sun of summertime! I played all the instruments and sang all the vocals on this one! I had a great time recording it, I even added a little Rock & Roll intro and extended the outro to get a psychedelic feel to it with sitars, incense, and some good vibes! It's a sing-a-long fluffy number with a very retro 1960's feel to it! I loved putting the video together, it was so much fun!  Check it out on YouTube, it will warm you up!

This is another of my story songs, it's about nothing and about no one! There was a really pretty bartender in a Buffalo Wild Wing's I used to frequent many years ago and her name was Becca but she has nothing to do with this song, I just used the name! It's just a rock & roll song, written in that Chuck Berry style. It wasn't recorded too well because I still had my old 8-track Tascam recorder but Charlie did sing it well and played Harmonica too! just a throw away song, I thought the lyrics were pretty raunchy and sexy! But Rock & Roll is supposed to be raunchy and sext, from what I remember anyway!😂 It's my attempt at Country Rock or Southern Rock. I just finished a video for this song and it certainly is something to see!Take care!

Keeping with the Valentine's Day theme of love, here's an oldie but goldie I wrote this back in 1998, can you believe it, It's another song about my dream girl that I wouldn't meet for many year afterwards. I was divorced for about 2 years and pretty much feeling abandoned and lonely. I remember wanting to write a song in the same vein as "And I Love Her" by The Beatles. A very acoustic number with an accordion playing in the background, you know, very romantic like something you might hear in a Paris cafe! This was one of the first songs I did with Charlie, it wasn't recorded too well since I had an old Tascam 8-track analog recorder and it's distorted quite a bit but I think the melody and lyrics still hold up. (Mastering didn't help this song at all, sorry!) I don't know, let me know what you think in the comments. I've always liked the first line about wrapping myself inside her smile. I produced the video a few months ago for this Valentine's Day. I enjoyed putting it together and added like 10 quick snap shots of beautiful women taking selfies at the end of the video. Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am a pretty good lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.
