This is a release that I am very happy with! It was the result a real fruitful collaboration with the great Ian Collins (UK), who did the production, percussion and additional vocals and instruments and Duncan Butler (brass section). This is the story about a girl who stopped living her dreams because they are too big. The song has a soft, acoustic start, then more and more instruments and vocals are added. The brass band part, which adds a bit of irony to this sad story, sets the final.

Now most of her dreams have disappeared through the hole in the sky

Using your heroes as a substitute for all that you'll never be
Mistaking amusement for attitude
Meanwhile, it's sad but you must carry on while the chance has gone

Some keep trying to force you in ordinary ways
They find it confusing if things get out of place
Maybe it's natural, maybe it's right
But I'll take a night walk and search for a hole in the sky

That even on bright days her pillow was wet
So she finished thinking
And counts the leaves on her curtains from the bed
Dismissing your dreams, well it might leave a hole in your head
