you feel its weight as you hold it
text, texture, eerily gossamer
translucent when properly lit

you flip the pages forth and back
adapting your mental state
inhaling white, deciphering black
creating approaches to recreate

when something strikes you, bold
a perspective that's never been yours
you circle around it, trying to hold
its flight, detect where it moors

stubbornly liminal, elusively real
sheer force to broaden your scope
to include it, allow it to heal
from your onslaught, allow you to cope

catching up on the fine print
concludes your reading session
shivering still from a catching a glint
of mind's light when in transgression

I Smell Weed

The cup of the sleepy morning was filled with dawn.
The birds are drinking dew, but I am no longer there.
It seemed that he lived, it seemed like he was singing.
It turned out that he was not brave enough.

I invented myself, wove it from fantasies,
But no one told me how to clothe me with flesh.
And my transparent phantom wandered around the world,
Moving like a fish with a dreamy mouth.

Like a snare the noisy world created mirages,
Filling the shelves with golden tinsel.
But it carried me into the distance, past lush shop windows,
Into the uninhabited wilderness of vast virgin lands.

Where one restless poet wanders
Under the gun of wildly rushing comets.
Where flesh evaporates in the chorales of luminaries,
Where the treasures of the world are just a pinch of ashes.

The churchyards were flooded with cold water.
In the abandoned wastelands there is a furious howl.
Looks at the sky with the pupils of crazy animals
On the crosses of ships drowned in darkness.

There is no refuge for us, there is no harbor in the abyss.
My poem strives towards the light like diamond dust.

...And it fades, unable to withstand the falseness.
I am getting closer to You - I am getting further and further away.

My ships are sailing away

... Unfortunately I am not a "real" pianist, but I always enjoy a bit of playing on my keyboard ;-)
... In any case, this is played in real time ! .... I've set the VST Grand Piano to Chord (5th) and was happy to see what happens ... enhanced by the triggering of a pad and a nice echo :-) ... my humble idea of ambient piano :-) Maybe someone will like it ! // It was also fun to transport a piano into the jungle using image processing.
