Kick It Out! Inspired by the recent red full moon. It's about dreams, memories and visions that are in our sub conscious mind. As far as guitar work goes it was quite a challenge but I enjoyed the whole process. Hope you enjoy it!

Kick It Out!

"Fields Of Hay" was quite a challenge indeed. What originated as a simple riff turned into an epic task although most people seem to be happy with the end result.
Due to Covid lockdown restrictions I wasn't able to get any local singers. The song sat incomplete for weeks until a friend introduced me to a website called Fiverr. 
I was able to contact a Pro Session musician called Alex D who helped out with the vocal. He is based in Cyprus on the other side of the planet. We bounced ideas and MP3's off each other until the final mix and song was completed! Thank goodness for technology! Please enjoy!

I really like the harpsichord in this track and the saxophone solo
Co written with Craig Small. I remember being asked to lay down some acoustic guitar solos near the end of the song which were completely unrehearsed. Most of them were captured on the first take. The pressure was on but that's when the magic happens!
Anyway I hope you enjoy this golden oldie from my past.

The song relates to strength, finding the strength to give something or to give someone away.

Mastermind is about the emerging global AI technology and the impact it will have on humans in the future. Will we be considered a threat to the progressively evolving robotics?

Little Digger is about how most Australians are feeling at the moment with the cost of living crisis. I used the Echidna to represent the song as they are tough resilient creatures, just like most Aussies. There is also a subtle reference to the Australian soldiers past and present who without their efforts we wouldn't have the freedoms we enjoy today.
