Marc Martinez aka AFFKT proves again that he is not afraid of going against the rules with his open minded "Cold Sweat EP" for Sincopat. New EP release will be out on December 13th and what we have here is the worldwide premiere of the track "Llobarro", the secret weapon of the EP with a bunch of 'out of space' synths. 

"Cold Sweat EP" brings three powerful original tracks plus an exquisite remix by the Mexican amazing talent Theus Mago. Fireworks light up with "Samorra", a strong electronic piece with hypnotic bass and outstanding filters, be sure that the test in the club will reach madness. On remix duties we got the eclectic and innovative Theus Mago delivering a really huge re-interpretation of the track, adding even more organic flavoured notes to the picture. "Beetlejuice" is the dessert of these timeless menu, and it offers some surprising sounds and noises in an incredible breakdown.

On the remix side of the EP we have a team of powerful artists with their truly emotional interpretations of the track. The Iberian Muse joins forces with Wurtz and brings up a truly crushing version of the track combining energetic synth melodies, pumping beats and groovy bass lines in an ambient environment. The Brazilian duo add an industrial vibe to the track, which smoothly transforms into an epic underground dance floor hit. The duo Senses of Mind goes even heavier adding melancholic melodies upon heavy synths which turns the track into a explosive bomb for any techno lover. The last but not least, Un:Said comes in with a special touch of the track. Very detailed work on the drum sector, minimalistic synths and piano sounds. For the Wout Records release #91 we have a very special treat. Zaria is heartily welcome with the powerful and yet gentle “Sirius” EP. The main key of this 5-tracker are highly dynamic compositions carried piggyback by expressive electronic drums. The audience and dancefloorers will love the synths snippets that wander through the complete stereo field; deep basslines that force the feet to move and chord progressions that will give you long-lasting goose bumps. The tracks are intentionally structured, but still diversified and especially they surprise in various positions. The whole EP feels like hypnotic and impactful melodic trip, with constant growth and intense breaks. Most important reason for the release is that everything sounds fresh, there are some features that you have never heard before in this abstract combination and it will give a special momentum. Mila Journée was invited to disassemble the title track “Sirius” into small individual parts and reassemble them. Open synth lines with a lot of harmonics swirl around a hefty bass drum. Her remix goes forward, has many new elements without deviating too much from the original. Definitely a true highlight of our previous releases.
