As I floated from instrument to instrument and from layer to layer of loop
I remembered the starfish on the sand in the bottom of the sea during the summers of my youth
moving its appendages in all directions
but only going towards one.

A Swedish story of kindness. The mountain troll offers her hand and all her dowry to the good sir knight in hopes of reversing her horrible curse.. the knight refuses her as she is not a "good christian woman" and she practices radical kindness by not having him for dinner with fava and a good Chianti.
