BE STILL AND WAIT

Judy Granville is one of a rare breed of singer-songwriters who began performing and producing records in their sixties. Judy retired and moved to Brighton, following in the footsteps of many musicians who have made that city their home, and soon she found herself acquiring an electric guitar. What emerged was a prolific singer-songwriter. Her vocal style could perhaps evoke Grace Slick, but you might say her songs cross rock with soul, folk and the odd injection of punk. Some of her influences include Bonnie Raitt, Police, Stevie Nicks, Richard Thompson and Bon Iver.  Her new release is entitled BE STILL AND WAIT - a song blending narrative storytelling with infectious rock.
