It feels good to release some tunes! I've been thinking a lot about the boundary between sound design and melody/harmony, and  'Decorating Time' explores that idea. It represents a lot of what I have learned in the past year and explores some techniques I've been diving deeper on.

This one was in the works for a while, went through a lot of iterations, and then sat on the shelf for some time when I got sick of it. I accidentally pitched the whole master down one day and heard everything from a new perspective that I really liked, and that's the version being released today.

Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth.  We emerge from the Winter to self reflect, and grow. Now is the time for us to gather forward momentum for the year. 

This mix showcases a journey through all of the newest music I've been listening to from across the spectrum of bass music. Malice is a deep dive into Hi-Fi production, mixed with deep, pulsing basses and searing synth stabs. It will build you up, take you down, and equalize you. Its strength lies in its multifaceted sound design, meant to invoke several emotions at once. 

Comment how the song makes you feel, or what it reminds you of. Music is ripe for interpretation, and everyone's take is just as valid the next. Good or Bad, we all speak the same language in the end.
