The Phantasm films are unlike any other horror franchise. Consistently amazing, and never failing to deliver a high concept horror adventure regardless of financial constraints, they span close to 40 years between the five films.
From the moment I first saw the films (binging the first four all in one night) I was in love. 
The theme by Fred Myrow and Malcolm Seagrave is iconic. Even if you have never seen the films, chances are you have heard this theme on one Halloween night somewhere. Over the course of the first four films, the soundtrack soars to phenomenally epic heights. The excitement I feel when the main titles of each subsequent Phantasm film is unmatched.

This cover is an ode to the theme, and I've thrown everything but the kitchen sink at it. Keith The Beast McCoy is present on drumming duties, and Ayx The Robot is here to throw his signature style down to give it some epic flair.
To accompany this, I've thrown together a clip showcasing some of my favorite scenes from Phantasm II.
