Francesco Liccari is a folk rock singer-songwriter, born and raised in Trieste. His music is influenced by the English and American folk rock tradition, by experimental rock, but also by the songwriters of the old continent as well as by more recent genres.
After having played in several bands, Francesco decided to embark on a solo adventure and released his first EP entitled "Memories of Forgotten Seasons", containing six tracks that explore the theme of solitude, alternating energetic rock songs with simple ballads typical of folk rock.
In 2016 he performed at Sofar Sounds, recording the song "A Song For a Man" live and presenting tracks from the second EP, "Raw Notes", which came out that December. The work was appreciated for the musical heterogeneity and for the lyrics that narrate unfinished stories, leaving the listener free to complete them accordingly.
In the same year, bassist Enrico Casasola joined the project for live performances with his original arrangements. In 2017, the duo recorded four videos of "Raw Notes" songs in the studio. The following year drummer Marco Bertoli joined.
The trio has rearranged most of the already published songs and Francesco has written new material to give life to the first album titled "Tales of a Starless Night". It contains 11 tracks that mix different genres and influences. Themes range from solitude to addiction, from love to violence and indolence but always remaining faithful to the theme of memory and the flow of time.

Got.Knees is a UK-based solo project that makes strikingly intense yet melancholic music – a fusion of distortion-heavy guitars and whispering vocals that contemplate the state of inner self. 

Through interwoven sound effects, Got.Knees creates melancholic, reflective and eerie tones. Obsessed with every detail, Got.Knees explores the boundaries of alternative rock and ambient electronic music, entering its own space – lyrically and musically. 

Following a debut album Horror Vacui released in 2011, the solo act returns with newly inspired singles: The Ceiling, Read The Words, Bugs and Snails, and The Slide which unveil a complex and deeply emotional combination of sounds. 

Got.Knees continues working on new music which superimposes structure and chaos, sadness and hope, existence and nonentity.

The Black Bile, a second album has been released in March 2025.

On October 30th DEMETRICA releases her first Italian alternative rock album. It took almost two years of work to complete the album. An album that was born from the desire to record songs which speak of fears, dreams, hopes and many other sensations and feelings. The melancholic themes and melodies, which are contrasted with a more energetic sound, tending to English alternative rock, represent an artistic signature.

Il 30 ottobre DEMETRICA pubblica il suo primo album alternative rock italiano. Ci sono voluti quasi due anni di lavoro per completare il disco. Un album che nasce dalla voglia di registrare canzoni che parlano di paure, sogni, speranze e di molte altre sensazioni e sentimenti. Le tematiche e le melodie malinconiche, che si contrappongono a un sound più energico, tendente al rock alternativo inglese, rappresentano una firma artistica.
