Four BBT artists  - pianist Martin Helmchen, violinist Alina Ibravimova, violist Antoine Tamestit and cellist Christian Poltéra - were joined by double-bassist Luis Cabrera for this special studio recording of Schubert's 'Trout' Quintet first released on a BBC Music Magazine Covermount CD in 2006 .

With the support of BBT, Naxos was on hand to record the second performance of BBT co-commission for Ralph van Raat, Gavin Bryars' subtle and mesmerising Piano Concerto, titled 'The Solway Canal', the name taken from the first of two poems by Edwin Morgan (the second being A Place of Many Waters) set for the male voices of Capella Amsterdam. Otto Tausk conducts the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic.
