Atlantic Drift (Annie Smart & Philleann)

A wonderfully rich melodic rock track called Newly by Stephen aka TexMex Shaman, abbreviated TMS that I upon the first listen, fell madly in love with and just had to cover asap! Okay, well it was at first TMS's proposition-idea, just for fun, to pick a song from each other to cover and so I picked Newly if you all must really know how this track creation came about. I was like, okay let's do it! I was so excited to try and attempt to cover and in all honesty, I had so much fun learning Stephen's Newly tune and just couldn't stop playing it day and night, day after day for nearly a week or so. His melodic guitar licks were not only hypnotizing-elating but also mega addictive like candy-yum-goodness. When I finally sent the finished track over to Stephen, his reaction came to me as a huge surprise...he was actually totally thrilled, deeply touched & wanted to post on his SC page right away. Wow, I couldn't be any more happier that he'd embraced my humble sonic expression whole heart-ed-ly and more. Hope you'll enjoy my version of TMS's track Newly as well as his awesome own. So i decided to try invent a new style of Music, Bluehop a mixture of Blues, Country and Hip hop...a hip hop drum beat, Country style guitar licks and all based on a blues type chord structure....would love to get your Opinions....does it work ????

Blue Saturday

UK based violinist and composer of modern classical, folk, ambient and filmic sounds with background experience playing in classical orchestras as well as performing and recording with contemporary folk/rock bands and as a soloist. 
I have written and recorded soundtracks for several independent films including  ‘Solitude’ and ‘Impulse’ and have co-written soundtracks for the 2024 Charles Netto film 'The Lily and the Scorpion' composed and performed the string parts for the Victoria pilot film 'The edge of the World' and on the Mariah Braun documentary 'Able' working alongside and guided by Canadian producer and composer Patrick Zelinski.
My music has also been used to accompany an artists work whilst on show at an exhibition
I regularly record as a session musician for other artists music and film media. This has included recording for 'Active Light Sound' on The EP ‘Dystopia’ and several singles such as 'Khala' with Amy Wallace and 'Lifeline' For Sadie-Lee
 I have also written and recorded several pieces with former San Francisco 49er and award nominated composer Eric Heitmann. Our track 'Ashes that Remain' is regularly used by TikTok and Youtube content creators. 
Most recently I have written and recorded with The German pianist and composer Juliano on the track 'Solace'
