Antaares is a young musician and Live-act from Mexico-City.  Despite his young age, he is already a big reference in the Mexican downtempo scene.
But he has also made a name for himself in Europe and played at festivals such as Fusion in Germany.   Ataraxia is the first single of his upcoming EP on Amselcom, which will include remixes by Ninze and O/Y as well. 
This song was already on a wave of hype during the turn of the year and got support by DJs like Mira Kater, Seth Schwarz & Acid Pauli. The elegance of deep dub sounds are garnished with melancholy brass melodies that seem like fragments of distant memories.

@seniorcitizen_wav is for sure, and we couldn't be happier to have him on board. As he caused some ruckus in the last years with his super bouncy and jolly productions, outstanding DJ sets or his unique persona, we were keen to release some of his music. So here we go:
Elephant stomp is a true sloppy midtempo banger, as you could have guessed from the name. Arrival then takes you on an aciddy trip to lalaland.

~ About The Story ~

After a long autumn walk out of Berlin in the Brandenburg Forest and Spree River at Plaenterwald (which has an old abandoned amusement park) I went back home and basically continued my autumn journey with selecting music for a mix. I tried to create an atmosphere and images of for autumn, I worked quite long on the music selection to really paint the picture and tell the story I wanted to achieve and then recorded the mix in Ableton with a delay and reverb and most tracks I also slightly edited. From rainy textures, falling leaves, sunny days to cloudy and windy atmospheres. I chose a poem to go accompany the mix.

I found Batu-Ozer via a fantastic podcast on Urban Cosmonaut Radio (be sure to check them out) - When I delved a little deeper I found an artist and DJ focusing on a sound indebted to his Turkish roots, but more over a producer exploring beneath the soil of lands far and wide.

In his fantastic new Métron Musik Mixtape the Istanbul native paints a vivid journey across a hazy desert, passing through small villages and strange characters along the way. Batu balances a tense energy with the contrasting stillness of open space.

Pius moves through the world of downtempo and electronica, shifting effortlessly between playful and beautiful to deep and juicy. He loves catching the crowd off guard with a track we all know from back in the day—only to pull them right back into his hypnotic flow. Becoming one with the audience is what he thrives on.
His sets tell a story, unfolding with light groovy tunes, building tension, and sometimes picking up in tempo—only to shift again when the moment calls for it. Sometimes the energy stays high, other times it slows down, diving deep into the full force of downtempo. It all depends on the vibe, the people, the night.
