Therefore, Thimble becomes a witness of the Nazcas and Viracochas´ story, a tale that has captured us with its symbology and values. In previous releases, we´ve learned that the Viracochas, beings from another world and the Nazcas, a community of sensible music and art lovers have joined forces to beautify the world. 
Thimble´s ‘Signals’ EP shows us just that; it reveals through sound the complexity of the Nazcas and Viracocha´s ways and purpose to heal through music. 
 
You will embark on a four-track journey that starts with ‘Veritas’ where a metallic bizarreness will trap you, followed by ‘Opposite’ a hub of exhilarating synths and abstract ambiences. After this mature mix, Thimble thinks ‘Walking Among Trees’ is a good idea and he is right! This third track rich in inconspicuous percussions and unique FXs simulate a walk among the densest vegetation along a crystal-clear creek. 
Finally, yet importantly, ‘Tribute’ is the vibe changer. The sparkle to the entire EP, a mix of shamanic elements and pure house patterns that accolade sound and melody.

Saint Is debut on Frankey & Sandrino’s Sum Over Histories label with ‘Something In Common EP’, featuring vocalists like Ukraine’s Sergi Yaro and Argentina’s Juan Hansen. Continuing to develop Sum Over Histories’s successful catalogue of releases by investing in rising talent, Frankey & Sandrino now enlist emerging duo Saint Is who deliver an eclectic four-tracker that draws on and pursues the distinguished musical history of the label’s past releases, following artists like Lazaros, Tlak, Kris Davis, and Impérieux. 

‘Dancing In The Rain ft. Sergi Yaro’ takes a romantic flow with a solid guitar riff, snappy claps, an up-front bassline and Sergi's rough yet vulnerable voice which are all interplay between a melodic transcendence.

Our premiere today - ‘Indana’ - raises the energy with smooth analog kicks, chattering percussion, emotional strings and flirting arp stabs, before ‘Something In Common ft. Juan Hansen’ grabs your attention with stripped back keys, subtle drums, haunting vocal work and an evolving synth-bass pattern. 

Finally, ‘The Phact’ takes a retro-vibe with distorted electric guitars, saturated snares, smooth low-end frequencies and nostalgia effects.

Exclusive: Laolu - Swango

Every release is a statement of what he's capable to produce and it seems as if Geneva-resident Laolu is one of the rare artists putting quality over quantity as the few and well-chosen EPs or remixes represent as well as prove his maturity at an artistic level. Laolu's latest coup is his Force EP on Munich based label Compost, which holds the long anticipated remix from Laolu for Swiss vocalist Sophie Hunger's track There Is Still Pain Left as a vinyl exclusive and two original tracks, Force and Swango. The latter's simply showing the artist's class when it comes to sophisticated productions. Swango is build up and built around layer after layer, it's initially introduced percussive driven bass line sets the vibe for the subsequently added first array of chords which are followed by a second sound sequence in a different octave but the same pitch and create a multi-layered harmonic composition. However, stylistically Laolu remains true to himself as Swango contains elements from his eclectic musical background, which are majestically put together to obtain a complex organic track.

Laolu's Force EP will be releases on Compost Records on February 28th, 2020.
