A festival highlight, this rare b2b unites two of Asia's top underground selectors. Mr. Ho, Klasse Wrecks head and resident at 宀 club, delivers raw, bass-heavy energy with unpredictable twists, while Tokyo’s Wada Yosuke, a vinyl purist and founder of Cowboy Family label, crafts hypnotic, evolving narratives through intricate rhythms and shifting atmospheres. 

Together, they create a four-hour sonic journey, rich in tension, texture, and euphoric release—an experience that embodies the fearless spirit of underground sound.

A fan of broken beats, deep bass, and the British sound, which is clearly reflected in his mixes. Each set is a carefully curated selection of fresh releases and time-tested tracks, where deep groove and rhythm take center stage

Originally from Georgia, Irakli’s early descent into the German capital has seen him corner and develop a side of the local scene and turn it into something of an international affair. Five years ago he created STAUB, one of Berlin’s most celebrated techno parties. As a part of the production duo I/Y, he has been releasing music under the synonymous co-founded label. But most of all, Irakli’s craft behind the decks has been weighed upon by the likeliest of Berlin’s underground venues, namely Tresor, Berghain, and Griessmuehle, with his vision of electronic music taken further afield in Europe and the Americas. In 2017 he founded the Intergalactic Research Institute for Sound with artists like Stanislav Tolkachev, Natalie Beridze, Rezo Glonti, and many others. 

Irakli also heads up a burgeoning convey, diving into exploratory concepts of ambient, hued by the tones and colors of his homeland, Georgia. Adding orchestral collaborations and sound installations to a field of work outside of the club, Irakli’s expanding platforms and industrious connection to Berlin have seen his entry point into the scene now serve as an outlet into the more abstract, experimental realms of techno. With new endeavors afoot and a creative repertoire to boot, Irakli’s DJ sets, labels, and parties always display unique qualities. It does not matter whether he is exploring beatless soundscapes or high-energy techno music; Irakli always manages to create something special.

Nhat Cao is the latest student to successfully complete our DJ and electronic music course. From the very beginning, his attitude was exemplary—he already had a refined taste in techno music and a sharp mind that helped him navigate each step of the journey with ease.

From mastering the basics of equipment setup and signal flow, to diving into the immersive experience of active listening and the art of DJing and mixing, Nhat showed dedication and passion throughout.

Premiere: Esilum - Neon Surge [Molecular Recordings]

The Swedish superduo Einar Christoffersson and Marco Gegenheimer broke through in 2016 via their EP "Swedish Lo-Life," released on the eclectic Studio Barnhus label. Born from a love of heavily dug DJ sets, late-night studio sessions, and live organic elements; they channel a whole universe of stories.
MLiR always has something to say through their sounds, constantly expanding their musical journey. They’ve had varied support during the years from DJ Harvey, Hunee, Antal, Kamma & Masalo, Laurent Garnier, Axel Boman, Lipelis, Jonny Rock, Danilo Plessow, Gilles Peterson, DJ Koze, Roman Flügel, Move D, Nicola Cruz, Haai, and Prins Thomas, to name a few.
The MLiR SoundCloud page is filled with mixes for NTS, DHA, Dekmantel, Dekmantel Selectors, Planet Trip, Kiosk Radio, Worldwide FM, Krossfingers, and others. With releases on Marco and Arnau Obiols’ own Taf Kif Records, Ibadan, and Shall Not Fade, 2024 brought to light their debut album, a 16-track double LP, once again, on home base Studio Barnhus.
Marco (the DJ of MLiR), who was behind the online record store Magic Teapot Records, runs the party ”Calamari Rolls Royce” at the hyped Club Malasaña in Madrid on a regular basis. More to come is another album for Maher Daniel, Bill Patrick, and Jesse Roig's newly started Stratasonic Records; more edits on Smutty Edits; plus one more album for Music From Memory in 2026.
