Improve Your Concentration With Alpha 12hz Binaural Beats and Psychedelic Music

The wetter region of far southwestern Australia is home to ancient, towering stands of Karri and Jarrah. These two eucalypt species have been highly prized for their timber, however significant relic forests remain in reserves. 

These forests flower in spring, producing an exuberance of nectar that attracts crazy flocks of lorikeets and numerous honeyeaters. Pumped up on sugar, they skitter around the canopy, calling extrovertly.

But among the partying, there is far more to hear: pardalottes pipe sweetly while gleaning among leaves, the cries of Black Cockatoos echo as they wing lazily between the trees, tiny thornbills and wrens twitter close by from the shrubby midstory, and flycatchers sing pleasantly between airborn forays in search of insects. 

This album comprises a single recording, taking you into the heart of these lofty forests on a sunlit, spring morning.

The wind was pretty strong as this storm built overhead on a ridge in Colorado during this past monsoon season.  There are some birds in places throughout, and just after this a little rain started.  Recorded with my double mid-side system and decoded to stereo here.

I put these mics underneath some broad-leafed plants so you can hear the rain drops striking the leaves, as well as the wet ground and standing water in places below sometimes.  The birds, insects, amphibians, and ??? are active and becoming more vocal, this was the aftermath of a thunderstorm in Ecuador.

This track features the haunting vocalizations of the Common Loon. The ambient "roar" you'll hear is the sound of gentle night breezes swishing through the treetops of large Red Pines nearby. (One critical listener calls this element "sublime.") Recorded late May, 2008. Skies were mostly clear; winds were light and variable; temp. was in the low 50s (F).
