Cami-Oh and I met via an online community known as 'Club Lucid' back around 2019-2020, later meeting in person for a show organized by the group in NYC, before realizing we were both based out of Philly. Eventually we realized we were overdue to link up and put our heads together to make some magic. We'll be putting a proper collaborative project out soon, but in the lead up to that, I offered to remix one of her recent singles, and this was the result! This has been one of my favorite tracks to spin lately, and I'm really glad to finally be putting it out there! As has been the case with much of my work under the 'Shay.' alias as of late, this track was heavily influenced by UKG/Garage aesthetics, with maybe a dash of tribal flare.
