Lights Out was an anthology program heard late on Wednesday nights on NBC radio from 1933 to 1947 with a few short breaks in between. The first writer of the series was Wyllis Cooper and later Arch Oboler (Photo with young actor, Tommy Cook). The show featured horror, supernatural...sometimes stream-of-consciousness narrations... sometimes included social and political themes.  This track features a story based on the life of Boris Karloff... who because of his appearance spent most of his professional career playing in horror movies.  Lights Out.... Everybody!
