Vocalist, Rachel Lightbody is a young talent based in Glasgow. Growing up in Chicago she was immersed from a very young age in the sounds of American song.  From Billie Holliday to James Taylor, the family home was always filled with music and sparked Rachel’s early interest in performance. Fast-forward to today and you’ll find her constantly singing with peers and mentors live and in the studio across Scotland, as well as teaching and working creatively in the community.

Upon attending Strathclyde University’s BA Applied Music course, Rachel became involved in many different styles as well as the thriving and ever changing live music scene in Glasgow. She graduated with a first class honours in 2011 focusing on contemporary and jazz vocal as well as composition. It was at university were she would meet musicians and be exposed to different genres which would inspire her musical movements and enable her voice to grow into a versatile and mature instrument. Rachel has worked with artists such as Fat-Suit, Flembot, Bella Hardy, Tom Gibbs amongst others. 

As well as a singer, Rachel has also worked extensively as a teacher, focusing mostly in the areas of singing, songwriting and group work. Working with students ranging from all walks of life. “The energy that is created from a room full of people singing together is second to none. I strive to create that energy in my students everyday, in order to release the profound effects music has on us.”

The young Prague-based group Vanilla Choice combines pop, jazz, soul and folk influences in an energetic blend. The unique lineup consists of vocal, trumpet, guitar, bass guitar and drums (keys). The project came along as a spontaneous idea in 2012, and has since gained a steady following as an unforgettable show that gives a new perspective to popular and forgotten songs alike. Besides performing for the public, the band has been providing musical accompaniment to various kinds of social events. Their clients (both in the Czech Republic and abroad) have included such companies as L’Oréal, Škoda Auto, Ernst & Young, BNP Paribas, and RadTech, among others. Thanks to a broad repertoire and the band members’ versatility, Vanilla Choice is always able to tailor the musical program to the client’s needs, from stylish ambience to a party that leaves no-one sitting down. Various combinations of instruments are also possible, based on the character of the event and the client’s wishes (for example, a smaller lineup for a quieter night, additional keyboard, etc.). The band are able to secure a sound engineer and technical support if needed.

Pražské uskupení Vanilla Choice energicky kombinuje popové, jazzové, soulové a folkové prvky. Jedinečný zvuk kapely tvoří sestava zpěv, trubka, kytara, baskytara a bicí (případně klávesy). Projekt vznikl v roce 2012 jako spontánní nápad několika mladých muzikantů; od té doby se Vanilla Choice stala synonymem nezapomenutelné show dodávající nový zvuk známým i pozapomenutým skladbám. Kromě koncertů pro veřejnost se Vanilla Choice věnuje hraní na společenských akcích různého charakteru – hudební program zajišťovala již řadě klientů v ČR i v zahraničí (L’Oréal, Škoda Auto, Ernst & Young, BNP Paribas, RadTech a další). Široký repertoár a hudební všestrannost všech členů umožňují vždy vytvořit dlouhý program přesně podle potřeb klienta, od ambientního podkreslení až po celovečerní taneční party. Dle charakteru akce je možné se domluvit na různých kombinacích nástrojů. V případě zájmu ze strany klienta je kapela schopna si zajistit zvukaře a technickou podporu.

Every one thousand years in the K. Hauenstein star system, on the planet Rogersnelson, a wormhole opens.  It leads directly from the planet's capital city of Bohannon to it's galactic sister city, Philadelphia on the planet Earth.  In the K. Hauenstein star system, music is a valuable currency and many wars are fought over it. It is said "He who controls the music, controls the universe". Almost two decades ago, the disco freighter HMS Sylvester was successfully destroyed by a marauding squadron of Imperial RIAA fighters.  Before the freighter exploded, two families loaded their only sons into escape pods and launched them into space. The pods drifted for days and the fate of the two young men was looking grim. On the fifth day, however, their luck shifted dramatically. The god of cosmic energy, Moroder, noticed their plight and set them forth on solar winds through the closing wormhole. After crashing in Philadelphia, the children emerged from their pods, looked at each other and said, "We are Superprince."  The collection of songs on this page are the efforts of Superprince to communicate in a new world, whilst paying homage to their alien homeland. Please enjoy the music, and if something seems off, cut them some slack - they are fucking alien orphans from the K. Hauenstein starsystem.
