Timber music box is a audio/visual production company capturing the documentation of the Australian musical landscape in the city of Melbourne. 

We focus on capturing the live performance of small ensembles and solo artists in our studio located in Preston. 

The crew at TMB have been connected with the Melbourne underground music scene for a while now. The drive to start documenting this big movement grew upon us. We started shooting some gigs for friends, and realised that high end AV material was needed specially for the bands, as they require content to promote themselves online. We then built a stage and started recording bands, rendering back high quality material at an affordable cost.

We made the stage with recycled wood pallets that were used to transport sugar from a remote land to Australia. These pallets are ready to fill with sweet new music and export it to the rest of the world. This stage was setup to be an open but cozy space, decorated with all the ideas that may arise. We have set it up as an empty stage with a dark vibe, full of people and colours, with casual homely decor… but anything is possible!

What you get is a full HD video in the next fortnight (T&C apply) 
We'll make it look extra cool and sound tasty! It will then be featured the TMB video library across our online media presence on Youtube, Instagram and Facebook channels. You may use this new video content for your band or project as you wish. 

All you need to do is smash out your best tune and we will keep the best take! TMB aims to preserve the soul of a live music performance, therefore we choose to limit our edits in post production.

HANDLE WITH CARE ! Something unexpected is gonna blow up in your face !

38 year old Daniel Moroney; aka DTMX, was born in Ferntree Gully, Melbourne. Daniel started DJing under the name DTMX at the age of 17. Only knowing the Melbourne hard trance scene Daniel was soon to discover a  sound that would lead him onto his true path and spin his DJ career of in a whole other direction.

At the age of 22 Daniel found his home in the Melbourne Psychedelic Trance scene when his senses were completely over ran by progressive psychedelic sounds that he had never heard of. With hard driving synths, whomping bass kicks, rolling basslines from Aussie DJs like Punkz on Junk, Ben Evans, Ozzy and Pakman just to name a few. DTMX was completely convinced that Full On progressive psytrance is what he wanted to produce and DJ. DTMX started to DJ for Tranquil Sounds in 2012, come 2014 now playing under Universal Tribe Records which Has very quickly evolved its name in the Psychedelic Trance Scene, throwing large parties on a regular basis to raise money for charities and promote label artists.

His biggest influences in Progressive Psytrance has varied over the years but favourites include projects like Outsiders, Sonic Species, Egorythmia, E-Clip, Sideform, Middlemode, Durs, Symbolic,Zyce, Ectima, Groundbass, DZP, 4i20, Vermont, Vertigo, Broken Box and Glitch Project all having a major influence in his production and DJ'ing. 
DTMX has quickly made his mark in the scene playing at festivals like Royal Doof 2012, Earthcore ,sat night(hydra Stage) 2014, Rainbow Serpent Festival Earthcore 2014 Saturday night Hydra Stage 7.30pm-9pm,, @ Forgotten Kingdom After Coming Soon,, Esoteric (Main Stage)  Playing alongside artists like Zyce,  Sensient, Hellquist, One Tasty Morsel, Ben Evans, Vorax, Mindwave to name a few. 

You would want to make sure you're prepared for a serious powerful stomping session once DTMX takes control of the decks because one the dust has risen it wont be settling until after he has left.

Señor Tasty Taste the mexican tune wrestler and Monster Zoku Onsomb! front man has been rocking the decks since he was barely toilet-trained, when he started testing his scratching skills on his Fisher-Price Music Box Record Player. He grew up in a profoundly musical household, his parents being professional musicians who put him into classical piano, trumpet and jazz guitar lessons from the moment he had enough motor control in his hands to hold a guitar pick and buzz his lips into the trumpet. He is nonetheless a completely self-taught DJ, buying all the necessary gear with money saved up from a full-time job as a dishwasher and learning by bringing a new piece of musical technology home, plugging it in, and pushing all the buttons until something happened. Loves bragging about his multiple world tours playing with the likes of Aphex Twin, Luke Vibert, Venetian Snares, Peaches including rocking some of the biggest and baddest festivals around. Meehh
