Mark Vernon is a Glasgow based sound artist who works with found tapes and acousmatic presence. His work explores themes of magnetic memory, audio archaeology, voyeurism and nostalgia. 

His solo music projects have been published through labels including Kye, Glistening Examples, Flaming Pines, Misanthropic Agenda, Gagarin, Sonoris, Granny, Psychetropes, Persistence of Sound, Flag Day, Entr’acte, Discrepant, Futura Resistenza, Vice de Forme, Calling Cards and Canti Magnetici. 

He co-runs and curates Glasgow art radio station, Radiophrenia and has produced programmes for stations internationally.

Sarah Nemtsov - composer (*1980) - Germany, Berlin

Composer-performer JOHNNY CHANG engages in extended explorations surrounding the relationships of sound/listening and the in-between areas of improvisation, composition and performance. Based in Berlin for more than 10 years, Chang relocated to his home country,  New Zealand in 2020.

Johnny is part of the Wandelweiser composers collective and in 2018, initiated a new framework for the presentation of creative research and performances, "Partitions & Resonances", aimed at encouraging collaborations between the varied disciplines of composition, musicology, historical research and performance.  Since early 2021, “Partitions & Resonances” has taken the form of a monthly listening series of compositions by Wandelweiser and related composers/artists/sound artists hosted by Audio Foundation, Auckland.

He currently collaborates with: Peter Ablinger, Jürg Frey, Antoine Beuger, Sam Dunscombe, Keir GoGwilt, Catherine Lamb, Klaus Lang, Mike Majkowski, Phill Niblock, Michael Pisaro, Derek Shirley, Germaine Sijstermans, Taku Sugimoto, Eric Wong.

As composer and performer, his articulated performances have been featured in: Staatsoper/ OperaLab//DAAD Mikromusik/MaerzMusik (Berlin), Donaueschingen Musiktage, Edition Festival (Stockholm), Sonic Acts Festival/Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Gaudeamus (Utrecht), Cafe OTO (London), Riverrun Festival (Albi), Q-O2 workspace (Brussels), Wandelweiser Klangraum (Düsseldorf), Minimal Jukebox (Los Angeles Philharmonic), Audio Foundation/Pyramid Club (NZ).

JULIE ROUSSE (1979) lives and works in Paris // Sound artist, improviser performer and electroacoustic composer. Her work is diverse and expressed through many different projects : live performances, electroacoustic composition, sound installations, music scores for film, dance and video art.
Before all she is a nomad phonographer and a noise lover.
She has played in many different venues and festivals around the world - from Afghanistan to Chile.

Christopher Willes is an interdisciplinary artist and composer based in Toronto. His artistic works moves across and between experimental music, performance, and visual art forms. He is an associate artist with the Toronto based collective Public Recordings, and regularly works as a sound maker and dramaturge within contemporary dance in Canada and abroad.
