Mossmoss (aka Mattie Bowen) is a Scottish born dj and producer with an intense interest in explorative music. With a keen ear and eye for detail, he is an artist by nature. His wandering sets paint landscapes of light and dark patterns, textures, and strange melody. Mattie's inspiration draws from the organic details of existence, the tiny pieces most overlook in exchange for the big-picture rush of an ever changing modern world. His mind deeply set to explore these facets and to share his exploration in all forms to those that might look and listen. Mossmoss currently resides San Francisco and draws on The City and its colorful nightlife for constant immersive inspiration.


Al has written and produced the music for some of the BBC's most stunning marine, environmental, wildlife and adventure films. He is also known for his work on many documentaries that have explored emotive and highly charged subjects, often involving key moments in art and history.

But there’s another side to the story - equipped with mobile recording gear and guitars, Al creates new music during rambling voyages – exploring coasts, islands and the stretches of open sea between them. Taking inspiration from the ocean, coastal cultures  and road trips, he shapes a music that reflects a search for the real and the raw.

Down To The Sea In Ships

Al's floating studio during these voyages is a 29ft yacht he sails with his wife, filmmaker Jenny Jones. During their summer cruises, he plays and records guitar, surf, sea birds and dolphins, as well as atmospheres, conversations overheard, street musicians, marching bands, church bells – anything that crosses his auditory horizon.  These recordings provide a fund of musical ideas that evolve into albums and film soundtracks.
While Jenny is skipper of the boat, she is also a film director, and with Al on board as composer they have collaborated on films for the BBC, Channel 4 and Animal Planet – their favourite subject seems to be sharks, most spectacularly, the Great White.

Al is now making his music available to a wider public, outside the context of his broadcast films.
Bringing together his film soundtracks and brand new recordings in a series of linked themes.
His first release, The Living Soul is a journey into memory and place, an exploration of universal themes: the oceanic unconscious, love, loss, and redemption. Personal, reflective and emotional, this album is played out with acoustic instruments, and features the hauntingly beautiful vocals of Abbie Lathe.

Wake N Bake is a solo artist that is deeply rooted in the 507 underground. Known for hard hitting and precisely delivered lyrics, the fan dubbed "Silent Bob of Rap", is steadily carving a name for himself in the Minnesota music scene.  As one of the co founders of the rap group Dead Broke Ent, he has been leaving his mark on local music since roughly 2013 when they released "Raw Potential". Several colaborative and solo albums later his ability to construct devastating punch lines, and 8 bars worth of multi-syllable tongue twisters, means he is putting out music that is truly his own bastardized style of hip hip.  Long time fans will be able to testify to the artists growth over the years, refining his writing, delivery, song structure, and mixing/mastering skills noticeably over each recorded project.  Musical influences include Potluck, Twiztid, Vinnie Paz, Strange Music, Oldschool KMK, Dark Lotus, and many others.

Inspired by fantasy, Italian operatic drama and sentimentality, Viacheslav Dalecourt’s style of composing and piano playing can be described as flamboyant, dramatic and sentimental. The sound he creates can be described as an imperious sweep with aristocratic poise and sensitivity.

Sasha is a man of eclectic interests and tastes. As a musician, there is a direct correlation between his eclectic tastes and his intention to work with different styles of music ranging from Classical, Jazz and Latin to Belcanto Opera and Chinese tradition vocal music. “Through my travels, I’ve been exposed and influenced by so many kinds of music and have experimented with all but I think I have settled on musical styles that are vibrant, dramatic and full of historical significance,” Sasha says, “My repertoire has evolved and expanded but I am still deeply connected to the Western Classical tradition.”

Sasha’s passion and aptitude for music was apparent at an early age but he also encountered the strange imbalance between his inner world of passion and restricted life experience: “I was a child, I knew so much, I felt so many emotions, but I had never made their acquaintance! I felt the tragedy in life, I felt abandon, exuberance, exaltation, but had not met these feelings in the outer world.” Sasha, speaking with the wisdom of hindsight, saw this emotional precociousness almost as a limitation of his early musical experiences. His development as an artist meant connecting these intuited emotions with real-life experiences, a difficult process of catching up with oneself in adolescence.

Whilst in his teens he studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and once graduated embarked on a long trip abroad which is still continuing ever since. “Being a gypsy at heart I’ve found it hard to settle in one place for long and new experiences always beckons me to travel again.” His many travels has led him to discover so many world cultures and he enjoys immersing himself in its tradition, history, languages, art and of course its music.

Many years ago in the good old 70th I have been listening to german electronic music pioneers like Ashra, Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze, and it was not only listening but also diving deeply into this world of strange sounds and bubbling rhythms. Round about 2010 I have been starting to produce own electronic tracks and really going back right to these roots of musical experience from my youth.
So here is the result of exploring musical machines of the real world like the Minimoog, Novation's Ultranova, Korg's Kaossilator or Kaoss pad as well as virtual synthesizers like Waldorf's Largo, NLog or FAW's Circle and countless others. And, of course, many of the new music machines on iPhone and iPad, to mention Moogs fantastic Animoog, Nano Studio, Tempo Rubato's nLog etcetera.
There is also a great affinity to Jazz, especially to the music of great Miles Davis. So I started composing or improvising some Jazz tracks too.
Another kind of a sub project is to make generative music, which is music based on patterns or little sequences an then played by random or following certain rules. Ableton Live gives you a lot of facilities to let the computer play this way.
Last but not least there is now a growing number of guitar tracks. Maybe my most beloved instrument which I learned to play as a teen.

It's not uncommon to hear of lyricists bragging about their overall achievements without running into a snag. Very rarely do you hear of artists dominating their versatility while still keeping the fundamentals of hip hop . Don Dada is one of those artists who still maintains true aspects in a performance with whirlwind bars, No holds barred production and spontaneous crowd participation which brings everyone into a frenzy during his live shows. From Central Islip, NY he pursued becoming an emcee at around 2006 after graduating high school, and redoubling his efforts after graduating from Five Towns College in 2012. One year later passion and persistence is slowly paying off. Much credit is due to a strong influence from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Strange Music and his peers. The crew GND "Good Never Dies" was formed which included members, Dro, & DeeNon, While his production team consists of some underground heavy hitters like Deitchmasters, SickleCellz, A.I. McFly  & Majestic Mastermind, which have given an arsenal of beats for his library. He has numerous mixtapes including "Originality Is Clarity" which includes an array of original tracks. He can be seen in various venues throughout the Tri-State including "Revolution" in Amityville, NY. His Resume consists of collaborations with Strange Music's Stevie Stone, Funk Volume's Dizzy Wright and JL from B Hood. Then in late July 2013 Don Dada and the GND crew opened up for the legend Slick Rick at stage 48 in Manhattan, New York. and a week later in August opened up for Funk Volumes Jarren Benton at the Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, N.Y, They also opened up for Lloyd Banks at Stage 48 in December and will be performing for Cam'Ron in February 

Don Dada is noted to be one of the most energetic emcees with most prospect throughout Long Island. Regardless whether its a performance or a mixtape, the material hits so deeply  that it  leaves you reliving the spirit of modern day blues. no matter what you'll think you'll expect, It's a Sure bet he will have you digging deep throughout his discography.

	My favored compositional medium is virtuosic chamber music, although I've also composed solo, orchestral, choral, wind ensemble and vocal works. My music is often characterized as having a very wide range of expression and includes experimental pieces like  8 ------>∞  for eight cellos (eight tends toward infinity), and unusually slow, stark music like the grief that does not speak.  Other works from the1990s found common ground between disparate musical cultures. Recent works avoid references and in the last few years, some freedom for the players has been incorporated in an effort to create complex webs and networks of sound that are fashioned from fragments of individual "utterance"; in DAGGER/the night has been unruly  rhythmic freedom was guided by the use of speech rhythm from players' interpretation of text as a way of shaping longer lines and gestures. Strange Parade has layered musical spaces and passages in which the listener can dwell in texture, meander amongst voices which branch and wander, focus on elemental shapes, or be carried along by eddies and currents. In Still Telling (2010),microtonal "tinted" colors add further subtlety; almost all the sections of the piece are fashioned out of "DNA" from a striking melody from the middle of the piece, not audible on the surface of the sound, but deeply felt.
