Dragon Quest VII OST 3DS Koichi Sugiyama.  Ah, that classic trill of flutes along with sweeping violins and a bouncy melody.  About as town music-y as you can get.  I definitely use it in my roll20 games.

Dragon Quest VII OST 3DS Koichi Sugiyama.  Who doesn't need good town music?  A nice peaceful background for those sleepy villages in your game.

DQX OST (Symphonic) Puklipo - Dwarf - Ton - Ten - Kan - Exploring The Hills.  Koichi Sugiyama.  I think this tune is better suited to a lively town or castle than exploration, but I've done both in my games.

DQ IX OST (Symphonic) Angelic Land by Koichi Sugiyama.  A quiet piece that suits background exploration and exposition well.

DQ X - Wedding, Elf and Ogre (Symphonic) by Koichi Sugiyama.  A nice medley of Dragon Quest tunes that works for village, town or exploration music.  A quiet start with a big finish (so don't turn it up too much!).

DQX - Invitation To The Castle (Symphonic) by Koichi Sugiyama.  A decent backdrop song for a castle, estate, or royal village in your D&D game.

Dragon Quest VII - Over the Horizon, symphonic suite, by Koichi Sugiyama.  Gorgeous sweeping piece for epic exploration, travel, and soaring through the skies.  List to Mother Glooperior and climb every mountain.

From Dragon Quest VII by Koichi Sugiyama, this version lovingly played by the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra.  A lovely theme to use for towns and villages in your D&D games.

A thoughtful gamer in the San Francisco Bay area.   Mostly I made this account to stream stuff to my roll20 and D&D games, though it turns out there is a lot more to enjoy here, too!
