As a self-taught singer-songwriter, Jared Wohl’s music speaks through influences of soul and is evident of an upbringing listening to Motown, other oldies, and alternative rock.

Performing and releasing his debut solo EP, By The Morning (2012), under the name Farewell Luna he received notable accolades, including the grand prize for the “Hertz Movin’ Music Original Song Contest” and an opening slot for Sublime with Rome at the history-rich venue The Stone Pony. 

Dubbed as one of ReverbNation’s ‘Breaking Artists’ (2013), Wohl has since teamed up with top-notch industry musicians Sean Hurley, Aaron Sterling, and Andy Burton (session/touring musicians for artists, including John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, John Legend, and Robin Thicke), to release his debut album The Road (2021).

THE JOURNEY:
A.T.G. has been performing in front of crowds and fans for as long as he could talk. His dad still has footage of him freestyling at the age of 4, on his camera phone. He was always the life of family gatherings, wheter it was him freestyling, dancing or singing. He's been writing his own lyrics since the age of 7 years old, he and the hiphop artist S.E.L.P.H. recorded a single with Producer Kuality of Kuality Records, tiltled "This is how we do" where Amauri The Great(A.T.G.) spit " I can sing, dance and i run fast, if you ever try me, you'll end up last." Since writing his lyrics for that song, he's written dozens of songs since. Going thru his earlier years of grade school, he was involved in chorus and the band. Through these avenues he's won countelss amount of rewards for his artistry. His breakout performances was at the age of 7(in 2006) when he performed in the world renown Allstars Talent Show Network, and won first place. From that performace, he was granted an opportunity to be on the World Famous Apollo in Harlem NY. However, his dad, didnt allow him to participate, because of numerous reasons. From that same peroformance, it also opened up an opportunity for him to host the Allstars Talent Show network, and he's currently hosting it(2011), which takes place twice a year in the Atlanta area. He's performed in a multitude of open mics, talent shows, showcases and community charity events throughout the atlanta area since that first performance with the Allstars. He won first place in one of the best Talent Showcases in Atlanta in 2011, when participating in "Who's Got That Vibe" talent showcase, that's hosted by The first female rapper to go platinum, Da Brat. He's reiceived phone calls and offers from some of the top producers, managers, and A&R's in the industry since winning "Who's Got That Vibe" showcase.

SOUND/STYLE:
A.T.G. likes to describe his sound as clean, meaningful, skillful, and diverse. He's into witty metaphors, similies and punchlines, with thought provoking concepts. He views it as a lifestyle, not just entertainment. He studies the art and craft of the greats who came before him. He displays lyrical ability beyond the average artist you'll hear on mainstream radio, or many kids his age. He'd like to bring the true art of "rhyming" to the mainstream, and not just songs about females, sex, drugs, guns etc.

Losing his father to gun violence has prompted Lil’ Salt to channel his hurt into positivity through his music and being active in his community. Raised in the neighborhood surrounding 27th street and Broadway, an area of South Phoenix where gang battles and gun violence are commonplace, he has set out to be involved in bettering his hometown; taking part in community clean-ups, peace festivals, and other activities.

With his unique story and lyrical skills, Lil’ Salt is gearing up to take the hip-hop world by storm. Known for real and relatable content, with a presence beyond his years, the young artist is carving out his own lane.
