25 year old Southern California rapper K Rosenberg, born on San Bernardino's west end has grown from many trials and tribulations in life. Witnessing his father walk away and his mother fall victim to forclosure, evictions, repossessions and layoffs which created an immense amount of instability, that would shape life early. He quickly learned that life isn't a straight shot, there's ups and downs and you'll get more curve balls then not. "No matter how she pitch it, you have to swing your bat, because no matter how small...a home run is always a possibility."
 
Finding music to be a viable outlet early on, as a way to express himself. "I've always loved music, even before I knew I did." Says Rosenberg. "I think that 'Pac gave the most meaning to Hip Hop, he showed us how powerful music can be. He painted Hip Hop in the light of being an art form and not so much a means to be extorted strictly for monetary gain. We are all influenced by what speaks to us whether it be our circumstances or that of others, and in the beginning before you have a name you do what speaks to you, so it makes you think...once you have a voice that can reach beyond limitations and speak to someone else...what would you say?"

I write reviews, interview artists, and submit news for music sites The Big Takeover, Rebel Noise. Adequacy.net, Stereo Embers Magazine, The Record Stache, Label Obscura, and Indie Music Review.  I also supply feedback to music creators about their songs at Fluence.io.  I am an established writer and have written hundreds of music reviews and produced hundreds of fun and informative artist interviews over the years. I began my music career in the early 1990s by putting out a music-related paper fanzine titled Stratosphere which is now in online form at my Stratosphere Fanzine Yahoo Group. In 2007 I became a contributing writer for Adequacy.net.  In addition to the music sites listed above, I have contributed to Tasty Fanzine, The Spill Magazine, Gigslutz, and the now-defunct Junk Media.

Jeanne has never taken a straight route in anything in life. Early on at Berklee she won awards in community service by the Music Production and Engineering Department where she was one of the first females to graduate.​

She won vocal scholarships and sang as a soloist in the Gospel Choir and prestigious commencement concert. Life took many detours to Nashville and then Los Angeles. Close calls with major labels and U2s producer Daniel Lanois all interested in Jeanne's music. She wrote songs for film and television. Life kept throwing curve balls and being a songwriter she wrote about all of it: from drive-by shootings to life threatening illnesses, earthquakes and helping blind elderly.​

Instead of building accolades the world would approve of she was leading a life of service. She then had two children and decided to wait until they were raised to continue her dream of being on the radio and films. and winning a grammy.

Her influences run deep into the veins of R and B, Gospel and Jazz. Rock and 70's music and folk. She doesn't sound like anyone and doesn't want to. She writes because she has always written. She is currently working as an Advocate for Palestinian Refugees. True to form, the music follows the story.

She is now pursuing a record deal with a major label and representation from a major US talent agency.

ART-HISTORY-FILM is a podcast by Gillian McIver author of ‘ART HISTORY FOR FILMMAKERS’ (Bloomsbury Press 2016) It is a series of discourses, debates and discussions about the intersection of cinema (and long-form TV), history and art history. Sometimes it’s just me talking about a film or picture, sometimes I’m in discussion with another writer, filmmaker or artist.

“Everything we do, every decision we make, leads us to where we are today.”  For Universal Music Group recording artist Shayna Leigh, music tells the story of this journey.

Growing up in Orlando, Shayna originally found music through the dramatic arts. Commercial work as a child actor led to musical theatre, where she first discovered singing. She found it to be the most instinctual form of expression she'd ever experienced, and she was hooked. 

Her continued evolution found her influenced not only by contemporary hitmakers, but also ageless greats like The Beatles, Carole King, and Laura Nyro. She spent years writing, recording and performing, all in search of the sound that best defined her own artistry.

On July 28, 2015, Shayna released her debut album "Drive" on S-Curve Records/UMG. The album includes ten tracks produced and co-written by Multi Platinum & Multi Grammy Award Winning Record Producer Michael Mangini (Joss Stone, Diane Birch), and Emmy Award Winning, Multi-Platinum Songwriter and Producer Peter Zizzo (Avril Lavigne, Vanessa Carlton). 

"Drive" represents both a musical and emotional milestone for Shayna Leigh. The record is distinguished by its blend of organic roots and pop touches, the songs mixing acoustic and electronic elements to convey timeless emotions in "classic contemporary" musical landscapes. This alchemy showcases an interesting dichotomy at work in some of the material –  sad songs in upbeat settings, and vice versa.  Yet while the instrumentation is certainly a driving force behind her songs, it's her vocal style that truly defines them.

Indeed, Shayna's voice is uniquely her own, but her stories belong to us all. She believes in the universality of the human heart, and she wants her music to reflect that. To Shayna, the greatest power of songs lies in their ability to remind us how truly connected we are.  

As co-writer of her record, Shayna loved bringing her input - her life, really - to the table, to see what it sparked into motion. The ensuing creative mingling of hearts and minds is what made the collaboration behind this album so deeply inspiring to her.

Prior to the release of “Drive,” Shayna released two EPs: "The Cold Hard Truth and the Dream", exclusively through Noisetrade.  She also released "Hey Shayna Leigh" in September 2014, which soared to #2 on Amazon’s Singer/Songwriter chart, #3 on their Hottest New Release chart and #118 on iTunes Pop Album chart. Recognized for her undeniable talent, Billboard Magazine featured Shayna as one of "Tomorrow’s Hits". Following the continued success of her music, Shayna has played shows all over the US, as well as the UK, and has opened for popular acts like Howie Day and Sister Hazel. 

When not in the recording studio, Shayna enjoys acting, dancing, and traveling, but her truest "extra curricular" passion is reserved for her family and friends - the "co-dreamers" who march beside her in supportive spirit towards her greatest aspirations. Her own commitment to promoting self-love extends beyond music, to organizations like the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, for whom she recently performed at a NYC fundraising event. 

Shayna holds an increasingly strong conviction that professional and personal growth go hand in hand. “There is a strength that comes from putting yourself out there and standing up for who you are, scary as it seems sometimes,” Shayna says. “We all have a story to share and mine is woven into my music.”

Aperion as a group introduces the diversity in use of stringed and symphonic instruments next to standard rock combo line-up. Despite the hard rock or even metal base the intriguing sounds of flute, viola and cello with help of dramatic didgeridoo and spinto soprano leading vocalist manage to curve the edges and make the music sound very theatrical.

With live performance by all classical instruments, significant costumography, on stage choreography, light effects and special guests (contemporary dancers, orchestra, fire blowing artists) Aperion is defined as a strong on stage performer, also winning recognition with numerous live act awards at international band competitions.

After years of gaining experience in live performance the 8 members cast decided to release their first album. In search of the balance between classical harmonies and roughness of new age sounds, the thoughts of eternal battle between right and wrong were released in form of an album ‘Act of Hybris’ in 2010.

In 2009 Lomo and Aerosol (Asol) came together to form 'L&A Music.' In May of 2009, 'L&A Music' released 'Godzilla Transmitted Through Sound' available all over the internet and in some stores.
