Last but not least, Smokin Rock bares its soul for the world to see. Dannewitz belts out his story of hardship with unflinching honesty as Hank Rusch machine guns the universe with his Stratocaster. This song was written in 2018. It was a sort of autobiographical song  pertaining to singer Bob Dannewitz during a rough patch in his life.  At the that time lockdowns, riots, crime, war were non existent. We thought the song was not relatable so we shelved it.  What a difference a couple of years make!! Now all the mad prophet rantings are par for the course in this year 2024.  This the last of Smokin Rock's releases in the album Desiree, we present it for your listening.

Well this is a bit of a curve ball , I had been listening to Axel Menningen and was so impressed I asked him to help on a song I was doing , he in his wisdom suggested it being a duet , so I got in touch with my lifelong friend Kim , and the 3 of us put this together , it's a bit different from my usual stuff , but we think you'll like it ! On the 8th is a belter from me and Gaz , and on the 13th is another with Axel , this time with Charlotte . There's a huge orchestral rock song being put together with Axel and lyrics by Andrea Brennan , so keep your peepers open , thank you for listening !

I recently attended a composer's workshop with the instruction of creating a song based off of specific pitches tied to letters in a name. I chose M-O-L-L-Y (Gb, G#, D#, D#, C#) for my inspiration and created this for my daughter.

des essais de nouveaux effets sur ce nouvel ambient; et puis finalement j'ai enlevé les effets, et repris l'original ( c'est souvent comme cela : l'effet plait bien à la première écoute, introduit - c'est le cas de le dire - un effet de surprise, mais ensuite, on s'aperçoit qu'il était un peu inutile, un peu tape-à-l'œwil pour tout dire...
