You can hear how personal this is right away, like grief is sitting beside you, not wailing, just remembering. The instrumental is beautiful on its own, but these lyrics take it somewhere deeper. That image of walking through the garden, sun on the grass, hits even harder once you realize why it matters. No overdramatizing, just raw truth wrapped in sunlight, laughter & that quiet ache of knowing. The line "You made it easy just being you" cracked something open. Huge respect to both of you for making something so honest & human. When Noobly sent me the instrumental I was blown away with its beauty. My instant thought was that I have to come up with something as equal and meaningful. I had to write from the heart and I have always had a vivid memory of the last time I spent with a close friend a week before his passing.
 I’ve tried to paint the picture from my head into the lyrics.
There’s not a day I don’t think or mention him as it’s the third anniversary this year of his death.
He died of liver cancer that took him swiftly from this world. He left a Wife  and two beautiful young adult daughters. 
Rest in peace Andy my friend and I will never forget the laughs you gave me and support over our long 
Friendship.

Welcome to Gaz Brownie music projects.
Gaz Brownie music projects is a collection of collaborative work from more recent projects to the bands I have played in over the years.
Been singing since the age of 15 in bands and various music projects.
I play guitar on my solo stuff but really only as a vehicle to write songs and finds cords for vocal melodies, and also a little keyboards. 
To date I have recorded and wrote/ co wrote over 200 songs in a professional studio environment, working with established producers . Played endless live gigs with numerous bands and projects.
I have had music published, appeared on TV/radio, Music videos, released albums, Eps and singles, on several different labels. 
Style preference is a indie pop/rock vibe focusing on interesting lyrics, vocal melodies and catchy chorus lines.
