Many times people have told me how much they just can't stand reggaeton. That omnipresent style build on the golden dem-bow rhythm that has gone on to conquer the world, Bad Bunny and beyond. 

But, beyond the mainstream (which goes for any music) there is something incredible about that simple rhythm. Following on from my last EP Tón Tón I thought I would see what happened if I tried to make a mixtape of "dem-bow" music which has absolutely nothing to do with dem-bow music. 

This mix is a juxtaposition of styles and sounds m(think Aphex Twin meets Ayra Starr meets Baiuca meets Âme...some dub techno, some Moroccan gnawa, some Ana Tijoux...)but all tied together by the thread of a dem-bow rhythm.

With a lot of excitement, I share this live music set that I recorded a few days ago at Nomade, Tulum. I had the pleasure of having the talented Xa.Monika bringing vocals to life, creating a unique musical experience. This set meant a lot to me, as we managed to blend my guitar and flutes with Monika's incredible voice.

The musical proposal is a fusion of different global genres of organic downtempo, with influences ranging from Latin America to Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. I truly hope you enjoy this musical journey as much as we enjoyed creating it.

New Earth 🌸
I share with you a chill ecstatic downtempo live downtempo set I recorded at Mother Tree Open Day for the Tulum RegenWeek. It was full moon, it was a beautiful day in the heart of the jungle 🌴 Nature always brings us back to our natural balanced essence. 

As we purpose to create a New Earth, let's remember to love, to choose ourselves,  to remain positive in the darkest times, to guard our light and not to succumb to the consuming darkness in our current world. 
As we witness the evil times end, a manifestation of a New Earth that is filled with love, compassion, justice, light and hope is in creation. 

Let's be authentic, let's aim to become our better selves by choosing what feels right, what benefits those around us and what brings joy. 

We can sometimes find ourselves focusing on all the negativity especially in the  governing institutions. Remember, your energy is based on what you choose to give your attention to!

The dark Ego feeds on that.

Driven by curiosity and optimism, she's  unafraid to dream. Stella Starlight believes and lives in a world of unlimited possibilities. Her purpose is to inspire, transform and tell her story through music narratives. She believes that Music in itself is love, a universal language that evokes self-expression and connection.



She was born and raised in the rural countryside on the slopes of Mt Kenya - Embu - around her grandmother's stories and influenced by traditional cultures and ceremonies.


Growing up she had a sharp keen interest in music and sounds from everything and even participated alot in traditional folk song dances in regional educational school music festivals, then slowly evolved into different styles of music - Disco, EDM 

She then fell in love with the blend of African Textured Sounds and Electronic  Elements!  (Afro-Tribal+House- Tech)

She enjoys music in a flow state trancing into different sounds, styles, cultures, message,  instruments and all the feel of it.  ( A Music Traveller) 


In May 2020, she developed a keen interest to create music narratives (DJing) by weaving together her favourite music from all over the world and time - mainly from Africa for its rich tribal, organic ancestral, percussion forms but also for the love of Electronic Dance Music!


Her style can be described as ecstatic, eccentric, inspiring, funky, happy, sassy, quirky, mysterious, groovy, sensual, energetic, deep, sexy, playful, sensational festival kind of Wild World Dance Music that awakens her audience's spirit evoking transcendental feels, expanding consciousness and spreading positive vibes.
