This is very old song based on a science fiction story I intended to write about a dystopian future where all music is generated by machines until one day our hero does some historical research and creates an acoustic musical instrument.   I wrote the song but didn't get around to the story.

A song about a bad breakup with the title stolen from my favourite John Buchan novel.

Based around a Stewart Copeland-inspired drum part it's in the style of late 70's Rock-Reggae which I think perfectly complements the bitter lyrics.

This song was written and recorded using a Behringer X2222 stereo USB mixer and Apple Camera Connection kit (for the drums), iPad, iRig PRO I/O, Marshall MXL 770 condenser microphone, Yamaha maple custom drum set, Ibanez bass guitar, Washburn acoustic guitar, and a Fender Squire Strat, via iOS GarageBand.
