HEIGHTENED SCRUTINY follows the courtroom battles of civil rights lawyer Chase Strangio as he fights to overturn Tennessee's ban on gender-affirming care for transgender youth while simultaneously confronting the media narratives influencing public perception of trans rights. THIS WEEK'S SHOW:  Tackling an incredible musical challenge.

From 2012:  BLADE RUNNER is not only one of the seminal films of science fiction cinema, but considered one of the best of all time. Its synthesizer score by Vangelis is also held in high regard, but, due to certain circumstances, there has never been an official, proper soundtrack available.

To address this, producer/composer Edgar Rothermich was commissioned to recreate the score (for which no written transcriptions exist) as faithfully as possible to mark the film's 30th year in 2012. The result: BLADE RUNNER 30TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION: MUSIC FROM THE MOTION PICTURE. Let's revisit our chat with Edgar Rothermich!
