Cam Soter, a dynamic hip-hop artist, originates from Washington State, blending lyrical precision with raw energy. Raised in Spokane, his love for music sparked early—recording mixtapes on a Fischer Price tape recorder and penning rhymes that caught the attention of his 8th grade English teacher, Mr. D., who recognized his gift.

Influenced by mid-90s Bay Area rap, West Coast gangster rap, and East Coast legends like Big L, Big Pun, Rakim, Kool G, and Nas, Cam’s sound fuses nostalgia with sharp modern relevance. He describes his style as hardcore hip-hop or thrash rap, pushing boundaries while staying true to the core of the genre.

Since moving to Phoenix in 2016, Cam has expanded his artistry, drawing from the desert’s intensity while maintaining his Pacific Northwest introspection. His sessions at The Salt Mine studio in Mesa, AZ, alongside major industry players, highlight his place in the game.

Cam’s background in electrical engineering feeds into his innovative approach to music, and his Christian faith adds depth and purpose to his message. Beyond the mic, he brings expertise in marketing and sales development, balancing business with creative expression.
